In Cabrillo College's Community Health Worker (CHW) Program, you can earn a Certificate of Achievement in as few as two semesters!
CHWs are frontline workers and trusted members of their community. Because of this trusting relationship, CHWs are effective links between the health or social services and the community. The health and quality of life for community members improves with this increased access to needed services.

This is an exciting time for CHWs with growing awareness of the need to address health related disparities, increased funding for public health, and more job openings than there are people to fill them.
CHWs can earn a median income of $61,703.
